| 9th April 2012: I have topped up stocks of Clydeside spares and aircraft. 28th March: The new Mountford floating dock USS Artisan is in stock , this was built in WW2 and sectional, available as a kit or ready painted, it is big enough to take a BB or CV. 4th March 2012 My latest model under the Highworth banner is the Russian Frigate Yaroslav Mudry 2009. This is a near sister to my previous model Neustrashimy but the ships were completed by Russia 18 years apart so there are a lot of differences between the two models, hence this is a completely new casting, the main differences are different boat arrangements, bank of 2 quad missile launchers behind funnel, different ASW etc. also the latest Russian ships no longer have red decks. Superbly cast in Germany. Continuing on the Russian theme, I have listed the new Rhenania Junior Russian ships as well as the USCG Sentinel and Bay class. Also another new maker is listed, Solent models are UK based but cast in Germany in metal and the first release is the MV Winchester a 1947 Denny built cargo ferry originally owned by the Southern Railway company. A very nicely finished and detailed model. 20th February 2012 the new MZ Models USS Freedom LCS 1 is in stock in kit form or ready made. 7th February 2012, the new mountford AFDB-7 with USS George Washington is in stock in kit form or ready made. Produced from a master by Kelvin Holmes and featuring etched brass, resin and metal parts. (see pic on this page!)5th February 2012 The Atlantic Conveyor is back in stock in kit form for £34.95 26th January 2012 More Len Jordan kits are going on now plus top ups from Mountford. I will be adding a number of Triang original series items over the next few days, also some Hai and Mercator pre dreadnoughts. 17th December 2011, just received the Len jordan re release Glenroy and the large container ships Sealand Patriot, Sealand Galloway and the ACL ship Atlantic Cinderella all with separate container loads. 16th November 2011: I was sorry to hear that Len Jordan, the well known producer of fine resin models passed away last Monday. He was a gentleman and a gentle man and will be sorely missed. I had known him since the 1980s and he was one of the best. |
